So we're going to have a Lutefisk Dinner!

It's been 3 years since our last dinner, and we might be a little "rusty". Let me remind you, we need many: willing workers. Rosette day will be on the Monday prior to the dinner, we will not be making fattigman this year.

I encourage all of you to think about all the areas in which you could help. Setting up (the Wednesday before the dinner), making cranberry relish, making meatballs, cutting lefse, mixing coleslaw, cutting lutefisk; all of this happens before the dinner!

The day of the dinner we will be cooking potatoes, making gravy, opening cans of corn and beets, dishing up coleslaw, relish, and beets, creating the dessert trays, and getting the cold items out onto the tables.

As you can see, there is plenty to do to prepare for the dinner. If the 40th Lutefisk Dinner is to be as successful as the past 39 years, we need all hands on deck! There are plenty of things that will need to be done that I have forgotten to mention such as washing dishes, wait staff, and clean up.

Please think about how you can help. Don't hesitate to contact me with questions, or suggestions.
